Trunk basket, any interest in reproduction?

This is the finished product. Cost, $350 + shipping Fedex, approx $50, give or take from

California.

I have 5 available.

The result is very nice and quite sturdy. Not for carrying Blocks, or objects that will scratch,

as they are gelcoated.

Can't wait to see the repro - Alberto made it from my original trunk bin. Just FYI - Alberto is awesome and is always manufacturing NLA items out of necessity for his extensive collection of cars - this was a fun project - totally for sport. When he saw my bin he was hooked

I am pleased you liked it, and the fiberglass is way stronger than the

vacuformed units.

Clearly, BMW wanted to maintain costs as low as possible

and were not particularly interested in longevity.

 

One basket is left, as one is spoken for.

If anyone has further interest, please let me know,

and if I get enough commitments, just might make another batch.
