So its time for me to sell my car. Since owning this car its always been garaged, not driven in rain and has been well taken care of. the car gets more attention than any car ive driven. I'm 20, in college and am re prioritizing things in my life. Sadly, a classic car is not currently right for me. A few years out of school hopefully ill have the means and i fully plan on rejoining the 2002 community. this board is invaluable and the people i've met through owning this car has made it a really positive experience.

Here's the scoop. It's a 74 verona 4speed. since my acquisition this summer i've done what was needed to make it a good driver.

here's what i remember doing. im sure theres more but it's slipped my mind

-motor from an e12 520i (unknown miles, pulls strong, sucks a little oil through the valve guides at higher rpm deceleration)

-different getrag 4 speed shifts very well

-guibo

-rebuilt drive shaft (what i was told when i bought it with the transmission)

-cv joint rebuild

-e21 radiator

-bilstein HD front inserts

-driver front wheel bearing, brake rotor

-brake pads

-weber 32/36 (drives fine but input shaft bushing has some play so another 32/36 or a 38 38 would be a good idea. it's not a problem, just something that should be addressed sooner, later, whenever)

- e30 alloys, new tires, alignment (probably around 1000 miles on the sumitomo tires, they're still new)

-engine mounts

- strut mounts

- exhaust hangers

-new 228mm pressure plate, new clutch plate, new throwout bearing

- new clutch slave cylinder

-valve adjust

-new battery

all of this stuff has probably 1000 miles on it^^^ i bought it this summer, put it all together, finished two days before driving it to school. i drove it 300 miles from san diego to san luis obispo. it made it without a hiccup and it's earned my confidence since. i drive probably once a week and it runs very well. i wouldnt be hesitant to drive it a few hundred miles. just 4speed on the freeway means you're buzzing at not the most comfortable rpms.

the seats are really nice. headliner is there but there's some small rips

-e21 recaros up front. the vinyl is in very good condition. there is one tiny tear on the driver seat but its small and its not visible unless someones scrutinizing.

-e24 rear buckets upholstered to match the front. the upholstery back there is perfect and the seats are comfortable

-not too sure the stereo specs. i can check. im almost positive its a jbl deck. there's two 6" round speakers in the kick panels, 2 6x9" like behind the back seats, and there's a infinity basslink sub in the trunk. the system sounds great

as far as the body goes, the paint is a respray that happened 1990something? im not too sure the year but the paint is in very good driver quality. almost 40 years old, its getting more difficult to find a car that hasnt been hit. the front clip along with all the other panels are all original and in good condition. the car is straight and the body gaps are nice.

in the pictures i show the only rust on the car. it's located on both the A and C pillars passenger side. it's small, easy to repair with an appropriate patch panel and after that's done the car will have zero rust. there's none in the usual spots, rockers, strut towers, spare wheel well... just what's pictured

Today i tried the best i could to get more pictures of the underside(no jack or stands... lots of crawling) and have posted them in the photobucket link along with a lot more pictures. the underside has zero rust. i think the link will work but if it doesnt let me know. The gunk on the underside of the car is from the engine i pulled, not this one. the old one was on its very last legs.
