I would have thought for a '74 you would want the black ones. I'm not real sure when BMW changed from chrome to black, but '74 sounds about right.

You are right. My bezels were black and plastic and broken. I like the look of the chrome, but they may be chromed plastic anyway. Thanks for the links. Much appreciated.
