Fairly geeky original hose clamp question

Ok I know there are some oem clamp geeks out there. I suffer from the affliction. I am rebuilding my tii heater box and scavenged some heater box parts from a very original 73 2002 parts car I own. I came across the following clamp on the heater valve hose. What say you experts on its' originality?

Yup. Those rolled clamps seem to be on the original cars.

Kris - Musty has the nice S/S wiper arms... Is that an E30 M3 in the background?

Thanks Jim et al, I will save them and reuse them. Nope that is not an E30 M3 in the background, but there is some interesting stuff where I store Musty, including a Scirocco and a rhd 3.0 CS. Sadly they are all long gone b/o Canadian weather/salt and will live on in other cars.

If I don't need the wiper arms I will send them your way (can't remember if I have a set).

time to give thos clamps a proper burial at

neighbors pool. They served their country longer

than any one could expect.

God speed Original Clamp.

Kris, double check me on this, but I think you need a special tool to put these on. They are available, WURTH or maybe McMaster Carr.

The tool puts the proper pressure on the hose, shapes the metal strap while you slip the key in.

I believe you are correct Bill. I've seen a tool in a tool catalog (somewhere) for installing those clamps. Another non-reusable clamp is the pinch clamp on CV joint boots.
