The ol' '76 is thirty seven years young with a original manufacture date of tomorrow. Originally Polaris, and an Automatic.  Lotsa mods later...

So many fun times...still a blast.

02ing is such a great experience - behind the wheel, under the hood, and with the camaraderie.

Bet most of your 02's have hit 37 by now, with most into the 40s -- mine's one of the youngins.  

 

The silly pokemon is me dressed out for the ski season closing day at Vail this year, the infamous "4 at 4" celebration.  Skiing is my second greatest waste of time.

No way I'm catching TONS of folks on here, let alone Mr. Self -- I've only been the caretaker of my 02 for ~15 years.  And it being a very late '76, my 02's birthdays will always be around the youngest.

 

Took it for a long drive yesterday - and it was a blast, even in the rain...

Very nice, love the blackout.  What did you do for the waist trim?  Coated original or something stick-on?

Thanks man - it's not everyone's cup-o-java, nor 'tis cosmoschwarz 

 

That's OEM belt line trim that's been prepped and painted body color.  Has lasted 20 years so far... I wasn't a fan of trimless - the gap changes front to rear along the belt line...and like highlighting only selected chrome on it.
