Bosch# 0 335 530 003 Speed Relay (Located On The Firewall)

RAS-2002

Recommended Posts

Hopefully someone can help me out. The 'speed relay' on my '72 2002 is on the fritz. Might somebody have one of these that they removed when they de-smogged their '72 or '73 2002 (or later?) car? Or maybe know somewhere that I can get one? It's a silver box, located on the firewall, with a four-prong connector on the bottom. It says BOSCH DREHZAHLSCHALTER 0 335 530 003 on it.

My car is in the shop, so I can't take a pic of the part. But attached is a pic which I hi-jacked from Buckeye's "Stuck on Smog Removal" posting (hope he doesn't mind!). It's the silver box in the upper right-hand corner of the pic (NOT the two square-shaped units near the fingers).

I tried BMW Mobile Tradition, W&N, and just about every other source, to no avail....

The BMW part number is: 11 64 1 257 656

Thanks,

Bob

I have a 0 335 530 005 and a 0 333 400 007 along with two dashpots for the vacuum lines if that helps.

Hi Chris,

Thanks; someone just got back to me with the exact part I was looking for.

Best regards,

Bob
