what contact point did you use and do you still use the stock ign coil ? 

 

The basics .... Petronix ignitor and stock externally-resisted blue coil.  A lot of it was just the tuning.

i just looked at webersdirect.com $219 for 38 dges how could i tell if its a knock off i mean im sure if call them they would say its a real weber ?

"Real" webers have the name stamped on the outside of the carb. The knockoffs have a plate and are shinier.

of course, given my experience with one of the pre- strike Spanish- made Webers, the Chinese- made version might be an improvement...
