Euro Headlights

I have a set of euro headlights on my car. it came out of England and it looks as if the lenses have the same cutoffs (ie: lenses are the same- no right and left). Does anyone know why this is? I noticed that complete right and left euro headlights (brackets and all) have different part numbers. Anyone have any opinions here?

The lenses (glass) are the same, but, being from England, they will throw the dipped light to the left (RHD), whereas in Europe they would need to throw the dipped light to the right (LHD).

UK and Euro assemblies will have different part numbers for the same reason.

If the Euro lamps you have are removeable (i.e. Bosch, Cibie, Marchal etc) they may have a little lever on the back side under the bulb that will allow you to shift the bulb's position slightly to change from RHD to LHD configuration.  Years ago Brit cars that were used on the Continent had little stick-on shields on their RHD headlights to prevent dazzling oncoming traffic when driven on the right side of the road.
