Good news that you got it running.  My question is:  your first post said you cleaned the tank - how bad was the bottom of the tank?  If it was nasty, then you should have removed the fuel line at the pump and blown out the line with low pressure air (into a container) to purge the old line.   If the car sat for a really long time, then the fuel pump diaphragm may be cracked or damaged by ethanol now used in gasoline.

If the fuel pump is not working correctly (and is a rebuildable type), then you can remove top portion of the pump to reveal the diaphragm.

 

Some pumps are equipped with a strainer (filter) on the inlet.
