Heck of a find, love original cars in nice shape, I looked at a BMW sedan, think it was a 3.0? when I was in college probably about 1981 or so, had been in a wreck and went down the road quite noticeably crabwise, I passed.  But really cool find, don't really follow the market for the cars, but seems quite cheap, how many years since it has been on the road?  Cosmetically I'd clean it up and keep it as is, how often do you see one of these nowadays, let alone one so original and pristine?

Jack, I would LOVE to know the provenance of the car. It's a '72 Bav, Sahara, VIN 3103284, with 49k on the odometer. It was reportedly a CA car brought east by Thomas Tarbell in I don't know what year. I'm trying to contact folks at the Senior Six Register to see if there are footprints across that site. Web searches for "BMW (E3,Bavaria) Carl Hansen" aren't hitting on anything.
