Barney, I have an old brochure from a Pittsburgh BMW dealer with a picture of a 2002 in the same location - very similar shot. Of course, even though the '02 in the brochure was new, I think yours is nicer!

Here it is! The trees have grown a bit, but it's a neat look at the city a half century ago. The brochure seems to be from late 1970 and is a treat, with lots of early owner tips and FAQs about this crazy little car. I'll need to scan it sometime for the board's archives.
