body and interior Driver's Door Won't Open

My driver's door is stuck. The inside and outside latches work but the door won't open. Seems the lock is stuck.  Is it possible to remove the door car with the door shut?  I hope I don't have to cut the door card

I would guess the only way is to remove the hinges, which means removing the door card.

 

You might try lifting on the outside door handle and pulling, or having someone push from the inside.

 

Good luck.  This happened to me and I had success by lifting and pulling.

Got it open by lifting and pulling as suggested but will still need to take the door card off for door guts maintenance.   Thanks!

Be gentle! Best to get some of those trim removing paddles from Harbor Frt, etc, so you can slide in and lift between the door and the back of the plastic snaps. A screw driver works but not as secure.
