Thanks guys, this will be something of a long, drawn out process but I'll keep you updated as much as I can.

My body is at 50% right now and i'm in constant pain, but I still try to get a few things done as I am able.

Here's a picture dump from earlier today. I went out to see the car with a buddy and he was able to snap a few photos for me.

Dash is destroyed

What looks like my skin in and around the momo hub screws. How gross.

A better shot of the steering wheel bends. Some parts of the wheel are bent farther than what is considered "straight". Salvaging this wheel may not be an option as it's already "compromised".

Trans tunnel is destroyed. I fear that the engine and transmission are both unusable.

Passenger Side rear quarter. Destroyed. I really hit her hard. Everything is destroyed.

Engine way pushed hard into the firewall. Preliminary assessments tell me that this engine is toast.

Bone stock, uncut rear parcel shelf. How often do you see an uncut, perfect parcel shelf? Never? Me either. Also notice the "hooks" that keep the rear seat back part attached to the car. They are bent forward allowing the rear seat back to come off because of impact. How not awesome.

Rear suspension assessment. Looks like the swaybar is nice and bent.

Shot from behind the tranny. Not looking good. Entire exhaust system was damaged as well. This is a pity because these headers were ridiculously rare Alpina or Supersprint headers.

Destroyed Tranny mounts, destroyed driveshaft, guibo, and my life.

More undercarriage. Frame rail is FUBAR.

Notice how the passenger side frame rail actually separated. So rough.

Front suspension shot. Still no idea how damaged this is. Probably completely wrecked.

That's ugly.

Do you have a header pic? Maybe it can be un-tweaked,

Adjust your sig line, :)

Ray

Stop reading this! Don't you have anything better to do?? :P
Two running things. Two broken things.

At least your locking gas cap is still pristine!

On a more serious note, I know you got banged up pretty bad, and you're obviously devastated about the car. I got in a really bad accident in my Mini Cooper (got rear ended while stopped in traffic by a box truck doing 50mph who didn't see the stopped cars because, "the sun was in his eyes."), and not only totalled the car I loved, but I got really badly hurt too. It sucks for a while, but you're ok - or you will be - and that's all that matters.

Starting ripping into this car today. It's so sad. Everything is damaged.

New home for the 1600 for the next month. Rust repair begins on Monday morning. I'm considering repainting the whole car in single stage Florida Green. You know, just because of how much repair is currently required.

Excited. This thing will be on the road in a month. Then to get the mechanicals in shape. I need to start building up dual webers.
