You should be able to measure the inner diameter of the hole too.  That way you'll know what you need.

BMW sells this assembly which has two parts. The nipple, the base that threads into the head, and small washer. Be aware that the large washer is unavailable and hard to find.

I think its NLA for the small one I need, I just checked with blunt.

 

My buddy welds, so WCS i'll have him fab up a new neck on it.

If you can get the proper size (inlet and outlet) hose to match any size OEM nipple that might still be available for the rear of the cylinder head, you may be able to get by without using the original diameter nipple for your particular cylinder head.

 

Just a thought.
