history and reference Baur Cabrio In Connecticut

Thanks to the indefatigable Scott S. for spotting this one on Facebook today!  We have very little info on it, other that it has been stored for 20+ years in Connecticut.  We are trying to get more info, but I am hoping that 02 Guru 02Les may have something on it in his files.  

 

I believe (but can't confirm yet) that it is a 1971 Baur Cabrio Targa.  We are not able to contact the owner directly, but we hope that our contact person will facilitate that at some not too distant future point.  This is the only pic we have.

 

Do you know this car?  All help welcome!

Well, that's exciting then, Les!  A NEW FIND!!  And here it is right here in Connecticut!  Who da thought!  

 

Thank you for all your help, Les, and for all the work you do with the VINs.  That was an amazing 'Bingo' with that Voll Cabrio in VA that you 'ID'd earlier today!  Wow!  I loved it!  Perhaps we can facilitate a reunion with Lothar Schuettler and that Baur Cabrio at one of the National Capital Chapter events at some point!
