Please excuse the novice question but, what size of tires are you folks planning on running on these rims?

(If I understood correctly the intent is to run them with unmodified fenders?)

I think the size on 15" would be 15x7/et25/4x100 with 195/50-15 maybe 195/55-15 tires if you're trying to run under stock fenders. Might need to roll for clearance though... Have a look at the wheel fitment guide, that's what I'm basing my guess on.

here are the same wheel specs, with  the accepted norm of 195/50/15 tires.  Sdrives in my case.  and also, these Rota RB wheels are in the Royal Steel Grey.

Given that you're running the 195/50 S-drives, and you're choosing to go with 7" rims: What is it about the 7s that you prefer over 6" or 6.5" rims, for use with these tires? (Better ride, better cornering, better fit in wheel well???...)

 

I'm simply observing that you could in principle use 6", 6.5" or 7" rims with these tires and wondering why you prefer the 7" rims for this situation.

Because 7s are what they sell, and they fit well with the et25 offset.

I'm on my third set of these tires since 2009 and they are a great summer performance tire. They do well on wet roads as well.

7" wide and et 25 is about the widest rim you can fit with a stock body and in a square set.

Fight the urge to do 205s, even with a stock ride height. You will rub everywhere.

Is a lower et# wider or narrower?

et, or offset, is the placement under the car in relation to the center of any wheel.  et0 being center.  7 inch wheels with et 25mm (-1 inch-ish) would be 25mm further under the car.... and that is what offset we need to have the 7" fit a stock body.

this is what I ended up doing.

I really wanted the silver with polished lip.

So Jenny said that I needed two others (total of three) to get that done.

That didnt happen so I had to pay $650 for what I wanted.

Also had to put down $325 (half)

So I put down the deposit and now we'll see.
