1976 Bmw M3 Conversion In Sfb Area

I saw this on Craigslist and thought it might spark some interest. Lot of work done on this M3 conversion, but unfortunately a 1976 in CA isn't going to pass smog very easily. This would be a great candidate for a drivetrain swap to a pre-1976, or an out of state sale. With S14 motors getting rare and prices pushing $5K+ this represents $8-$10K in parts and labor to get it to this point. Part the 1976 and this deal seems reasonable at the $12K asking price. If only I had more room.
