For Sale: 1975 BMW 2002, 5 speed, with M42 engine.

With mixed feelings, I am posting our 1975 BMW 2002 for sale. Links to pictures and videos here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/joshuatrapp/522u94/

She has served my wife and I great for the last few years for trips to Santa Cruz, In-N-Out runs, and daily odds and ends... but we are looking to buy our first home, and it's time for a classic truck/SUV to make Home Depot runs. Sad to see her go. A lot of money, time, and effort has gone into her. Here are some of her features:

- M42 from a 91/92' 318is... rebuilt by the PO (with lots of paperwork) fuel injection engine

- AC (works, just needs a recharge)

- Sunroof (working, opens and closes, no leaks).

- Dinan chip (Dinan specs loaded onto BMW ECU chip)

- Nardi steering wheel, wood shift knob

- Tii struts with big brake upgrade from E21, stainless cables, new fluid 7/2014)

- LSD (rebuilt by Aardvark Motorsports, new Redline fluid 10/2013, less than 1000 miles since)

- Bilstein Sports with Ireland Stage 2 Springs, less than 1000 miles.

- Almost every bushing/rubber in the suspension was changed out (sway bar end links, tie rods, drag links, control arms), less than 1000 miles.

- Euro Long Tail bumper conversion, with Euro bumper lights and license plate bracket - brand new bumpers and impact strips - original German pieces, not fake/Ebay.

- Euro rear fog light, Cibie, with bumper mount (no holes drilled, clamp only).

- BMW Recaro front seats with German vinyl (Aardvark Motorsports), E21 seats, upgrade from stock.

- Radiator was repaired, rodded and flushed last year along with thermostat, housing, and seal. New radiator fan and a used E21 shroud was added to increase cooling.

- Hella H4 headlights, new, 5/2014.

- Hella driving lights and covers, with center console push-button (Turbo style), new, 5/2014.

- Driving light bracket mount (no holes drilled, mounts to factory location using Pierre's mounts from BMW2002FAQ)

- Restored Enkei mesh wheels (15x7) and fresh Yokohama AVS ES100 tires.

- New door backing (wood from Aardvark Motorsports) and new clips.

- New passenger door seal - genuine BMW.

- New throttle cable (Lokar), and custom bracket

- New fuel inlet rubber boot.

- Mobil 1 Synthetic motor oil (no leaks beneath the car)

- K&N drop in filter, cleaned 9/2013

- Newer Interstate battery (matched with the M42 motor's cranking needs), about 1 year old.

- Scorpion Exhaust, stainless steel, new, 7/2014.

- And a bunch of stuff he PO did during the M42 motor swap that I have his documents for.

Parts that come with the car:

- Rear seat (top and bottom), rear sides, black.

- New carpet kit (salt & pepper) from Etsy on BMW2002FAQ forum

- Pedal box kit from BluntTech

- New body mounts from BluntTech

- M42 gaskets/vacuum tubes from BluntTech

Can be added with the car:

- Vintage Yakima roof rack with vintage Yakima wind fairing, and two Yakima Viper bike trays can be added on for $400.
