Bumper And Ball Joint Help

Here are some shots of the cut-down accordions.  Still not 100% happy with the way the joint turned out, but good enough until I can get another set to perfect the technique.  Thanks again to all who posted advice, it is much appreciated.

Another EZ way to tuck the front bumper it is buy a length of 2 inch exhaust pipe, cut to length desired, drill a hole in each end for the mounting bolts , and reinstall. Avoids the mess of drilling into the compressed shock oil, oil in your eyes, and can tuck the bumper to any desired location. I put the center of the bumper about an inch from the kidney. And you get to save the original shocks!

^ It holds up fine. THere is a company that actuall sells the tubing as a front bumper tuck. I used their kit and it worked fine.

However its nothing more than some tubing, so might as well make it your self!
