electrical and ignition Improved Idle With E30 Alternator?

Just seeing if anyone else out there noticed that the internally regulated 80amp alternator of a e30 resulted in a more even idle?.  

 

Between that and the E30 starter 1.4Kw it starts and idles like a modern car. I only changed them out because I had them in stock not to remedy anything and I had to pull the alternator to change the thermostat to inlet manifold coolant hose.

Placebo... Mostly. You may notice a smoother idle because the increased load helps mitigate the pulses created by each power stroke. Idle rpm will also be a bit lower as a result of the increased load.
