I've got it covered, except she's not a surfer.

Reminds me of driving down Highway 1 in Big Sur.  I wonder what country that is?  Love it!

Sounds like the engine has been beefed up a bit or not the stock exhaust.  M2 maybe?

It's a Euro spec LHD '74 tii in Turkis, an unusual color for a squarelight.  Sure looks like the CA coast south of SF, but not with those license plates.   Didja notice that in the opening segments--before boy meets girl--that he's driving on the left, but in later segments he's driving on the right?

Could be the French/Italian Mediterranean coast, Australia or NZ  (although in one of the shots there's an arrow painted on the road that clearly shows the country is left drive).

Oh...the girl wasn't too bad either!

I love this video. Datsun on the side of the road where it belongs, pedal through the floor where it belongs, girl shotgun where she belongs.

Could be the French/Italian Mediterranean coast, Australia or NZ  (although in one of the shots there's an arrow painted on the road that clearly shows the country is left drive).

I'm thinking NZ. Gotta get there one day.

  • 2 weeks later...

Keep the dream alive :) Just watched the video again to get the motivation to try again to get the rear "bitch nut" off the left hand side of the rear hub on my '74 daily driver.  Happy Friday
