It looks correct with a lot of what I'd want to see in searching for a Tii, it is a good referrence point. That floor pic raises the rust flag and makes this a project car to me. Due dilligence is required any time when looking at a vehicle. If I didn't have Vern, I'd be checking this car out with full resto in mind.

I believe anyone who doesn't look at a car themselves -- assuming they have real knowledge of the model -- or get a PPI by someone with real knowledge of the model, gets precisely what he/she deserves.

This car does check lots of boxes: I can understand why conkitchen passed at $9,750 but I have no doubt it will find a buyer for more than that.

Steve

Others will disagree with me but I believe -- given how early we were in the auction, and the Schwarz, and the sunroof, and the nice photos -- that the black tii sold for well over $9,750, possibly even over $14,750.

I hear you, conkitchen, about the Agave car but besides from the much better presentation -- Agave owner should have stuck the seats back in the car and pushed the car outside -- Schwarz and sunroof trumps Agave and no sunroof any day from a marketing perspective.

Once again we've been robbed of a data point when it comes to tii values!

Regards,

Steve

SOLD...supposedly

PT Barnum was a genius

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-2002-2002-TII-/261822501546#ht_693wt_1363

will be interesting to see the affects on this one which in MHO is a better car.

The madness is in full swing.

It's 4+ days from the auction end and the current high bid on this "complete-but-needs-a-bit-of-everything" Agave tii is $8,700. Dollars to doughnuts, this car gets bought before the scheduled auction end and, once again, we'll not learn what the true market value is. Like you say, conkitchen, "The madness is in full swing"!

Regards,

Steve
