Most "period correct" 15" wheels for my 75

Just to continue the discussion a bit... Period correct 15" wheels on an '02 would mean from the early '80s to the early '90s, since that's when they became popular...

 

Mom and Das's Tii ran ATS Cups from early '83 till the late '90s. ATS still makes them; 15x7 et20 or et28. If I were to buy a set now I'd choose et28.

I have a set of these Nardi by BBS 15x7 et28 that I bought new in '98 or thereabouts. Very rare and NLA, but look a lot like the BMW E30 Style10, and share the same center design as later 5-lug two piece BMW Style 19 wheels.

BBS "Mahle", I am not sure if they made them in 6x15 or just 7x15....6x15 would probably be better unless the offset was just right.  This is what they looked like.......Good Luck.  AlpinA made a one-

I have 15X6 VW Corrado steel wheels. I think that they look the part.
