Unbelievable find......5 original finish 4 1/2 inch X 13 wheels, all with the same manufacture date from 1971. A couple still have the factory yellow paint dab near the lug holes. Tires are Michelin XAS in EXCELLENT condition the exception being the spare which has slight checking. The other 4 were stored for decades in tire bags. You will not find another original period correct set like this.

Save the commentary please........we all know this set is not for daily driving, or 90 mph trips down the freeway........ but they would be EXCELLENT for a true original unrestored show car. You can't fake patina.

I have no idea of value, so make an offer, or perhaps a reputable and knowledgeable member could help out here. I am located near Vancouver, BC Canada, and can deliver to the Seattle area. I will ship, but prefer pickup or delivery.

Hey, hey, it's a set of BMW OEM rims by Kronprinz (identified by the "KP" design stamped into the face). NOT common!

I only rarely see Kronprinz rims rather than the usual Lemmerz. Kronprinz, like Lemmerz, was one of the big steel rim manufacturers of the '02 era. I assume there were times when Lemmerz, for whatever reason, could not supply sufficient numbers of rims to satisfy BMW's needs. I've seen BMW OEM rims by Kronprinz dated from '67 through '73, but I have never seen a Kronprinz version of the square taillight styled steel rims!

I find it ironic that I sought out and bought a California tii and, lo and behold, it came with a set of Kronprinz rims!

Good luck with your sale,

Steve
