Tii hot start issue

You might want to look into an E30 M3 starter. My Tii engine likes to be spun hard and fast, like a drunk salsa dancer in Cabo, and it starts much easier now.

My formula:

1. Non-resistor NGK spark plugs-- BP5ES

2. Non-resistor plug wires: Ireland Engineering

3. E30 M3 starter

4. Fresh good battery

5. Correct fuel pressure at Kpump 29psi

6. Points and condensor not electronic ignition

Works every time since This system has been implemented.

In the past, when it wouldn't start when hot, I learned to FLOOR the gas pedal and hold it there while cranking. If it barely catches, immediately let off the gas, keep cranking, and it will usually start up.

The CSV is injecting fuel each time you crank the engine...so it is easy to flood a Tii. If you floor the gas pedal, it opens the intake plenum, letting more air in, which leans the mixture, and hopefully after some cranking, starts the engine.
