My 73 2002 with weber carbs revs too fast at idle. How can this be adjusted?

Also the choke seems to be stuck open. How can that be remedied?

There are a number of good Weber carb books. Get one that covers your setup in depth, and follow the instructions slowly and carefully.  Also, make sure you have no vacuum leaks.  These will contribute to a rough idle at the correct speed.

It might just be your idle speed screw. give it a turn and see if the idle gets faster or slower. are you talking about when the car is warm or just started and not up to temp?

It revs high even when the car is fully warmed up.

What Mike said. Try adjusting your idle speed screw first. I don't know what kind of Weber you have, but use google to find an exploded view image  of your carb t find it.
