It may be a scam.  This car was listed for $13k and sold in 2010 for with the exact same photos and a similar description:  http://bringatrailer.com/2010/08/23/bat-exclusive-fjord-blue-1973-bmw-2002tii/

 

You never know, it may have depreciated over the years, but current photos would tell the story.
