Interesting car, wish they would post the VIN.  Some former owner changed out the clock for a tach and added a Tii clock to the dash.  Original steering wheel, but not original driver side mirror.  Looks very doable restoration.  Another $20K and the new owner would have a $45K car.  The $68K car referenced was a super rare 1971 BMW 2002 Baur Cabriolet, not the more common 1600 variety.

Rust coming through on rear wheel houses. No rocker trim or holes. Can only imagine what the pan looks like. Was probably "restored" once already, but, it appears this is the uber rare 1602 Cabriolet I think 20K for the resto is light....

I agree. This is a rare and desirable car, but my read of the rust from the photos suggests VERY SERIOUS rust issues!
