I have no affilation with them and have never used them yet, but they have over 15 different brands of 13 inch tires and their prices are really good. They have a few 13 inch tires in stock and can get pretty much anything in 1-2 business days.

Costco is running a sale on 4 Michelin Defender XT 175/70R13 for $355 installed. Any one have any feedback on these?

And as far as the difference between a 185 and 175 on 13 inch wheels besides the obvious size difference is there any notes on performance/drivability difference? (And yes, I have read through at least a dozen threads on wheels but non addresses this point directly)

I put the Michelin 175/70R13 on about 500 miles ago- they are a fantastic tire, very grippy and predictable.  The 175 size keeps the sidewall flex down but still a very comfortable overall ride- of course your speedo will read fast but I was willing to sacrifice in order to run 13" wheels and good tires.
