They are, but for very different reasons. The 315 weighs 1300 lbs. and is putting out about 120 HP on very skinny, hard Dunlops. The rear end is very loose and needs constant attention.

 

The CSL is just plain hard work. 12" Avon slicks + a quick ratio steering box + a small wheel = a lot of work.

 

The interesting thing is they are both very predictable, and very forgiving. Must be the BMW genes.
