Tension strut bushing

Bens

Recommended Posts

I got new tension strut bushing and the seller said that is for BMW 1800. The diameter size is 41,9 mm and the length 13 mm. But when I measure the hole on the car, the diameter is 37,5 mm and the length is 22 mm.

Is that new bushing will fit to BMW 1800 1964 ?

And from BMW realoem catafalque I found two rear arm part number is 31121112902 and 31122614103. Anybody know what is the different?

Thank you.

Tension strut/subframe bushing is 31 13 1 108 374, it shows 2/62 thru 6/75, the control arm bushing is 31 12 1 112 902. They are same for 1600/1800/2000 sedans.

The seller just give me that bushing with above dimension.

What is the different between 31121112902 and 31122614103 ?

Front bushing dimensions match the one I have here. They stretch when you pull them into place.See 02 side for pics on how to do it.

902 was superseded by 103. They also stretch. Easier to just buy the whole arm with bushings installed.
