Wtb OEM shifter knob for 1972

What looks to be an almost-new (but used, nonetheless) original shift knob: $203

Given the $124 list price for new OEM knobs, this one makes me wonder.

(A.) Had the two top bidders, @ $200 and $203, seen the $124 knob and thought that the difference was so great between the new one and this original old knob that it was worth paying much more for the used knob? Or

(B.) As I had been, were the two top bidders simply clueless that new OEM knobs were available?

While on the subject does anyone know which bmw this shift knob came on? I cannot find a reference to it on Penske or realoem.

it was id'd as porshe knob and is not stock but it is more  comfortable than the stock bmw shifters. Additionally, I think it fits the interior look and finish better than the bmw shifter knobs, just my humble opinion.
