Hi All,

My 67 1600 is up live on eBay Motors today.  Huge description there.  If you are looking for the best all-original early '02 with strong ownership history and provenance this is it.  Many life/family factors are driving me, with a heavy heart, to list it for sale (with a strong reserve price) after 10 years of ownership and lots of participation with the 2002FAQ.  I considered selling it at one of the Pebble Beach weekend auctions this year but its a lot of trouble to use them so I'm giving eBay a shot first.

Good luck with the sale.

A very nice and a very nice owner. The 1968 Manila 1600 I got from you in 2009 is still doing great and a lot of fun to drive. Thanks.

Hate to see you sell that beautiful car but times change.

All the best.

Thanks all for the nice comments!  Sam, good to hear from you that your '68 is going strong.  If the '67 sells I'm sure I'll get another '02 at some point, but never find another one as solid as this one I'm sure.  Definitely not a 67, they are rarer than 2002 Turbos at this point. I'd like to have a first-year 68 2002 as well.  We'll see!

i was guessing about $10k more.

Ryan

I dunno. $27K could be a world record for a '67 1600-2. And, as the seller thoughtfully laid out in considerable detail, the car has a lot of minor needs now or in the near future. I believe $27K was a good deal from both sides!

(Yes, I know '67 Porsches are on fire! BMW's aren't....yet!)

Regards,

Steve
