What is a clownie? Is this an autocorrect for a word the forum doesn't like? For example, the board does not like the name of the area where a pilot would be on a plane.

I put "clownie" in the search window, to try and see who ray_ was saying hello to, but the results were from back in the days when people show up as 'guest anonymous'.

 

Someone was using that term, but I know not who....

I must have been thinking of the old board. If you wrote cockpit it would edit to thingypit. It was pretty entertaining to see the auto edits happen. Thanks for showing me the error of my ways. I have to stay up to date!

Apparently all of the crappy parts we've all been hoarding are now commanding stratospheric asking prices. That said, there have also been some neat parts for sale from reputable sellers lately, too. Had to laugh a bit when i saw 'clownie'....who's next to come back from the dark past??

I'm used to seeing high prices on crap parts on eBay, but now I'm starting to notice it here. Like $150 U.S. Turn signals. LOL
