How do I take the frontend off

If you have just the outer shell, you'll be cutting a lot of the spot welds.

The secret in that is to do it slowly, and peel the old, damaged surface

away from the inner part that you want to keep.

If you have the outer shell welded to the inner radiator bulkhead panel, it's a lot easier-

but the same idea.  There are 2 welds underneath the car that attach the panels

to the 'frame rails' that come forward, and those are hard- abrasive wheels seem

to work best, and you have to go slowly and carefully to not cut into the 'frame rail'

part of the car.

Here's a pic showing where you'll find most of the spot welds.  This is an old shell I was chopping up as a donor and decided to see how difficult it was to remove the front panel.

I would also brace across the top of the inner wings and between the frame rails, if the car is going to be moved or you are not immediately restoring the front end.
