A friend of mine looked at the cars and they reek of mouse urine, mildewed and are basically parts cars. Turkis may be able to be saved yet has no drive train. No one would want them in thier garage they smell so bad. So if you want to get in the parts biz.

If anyone goes out there, I would love a complete set of roundie grills, with center kidney. I seem to be breaking a grill slat every time I drive the thing!

Thanks!

I was breaking 'em also -- until I reinforced them at the "corners" with epoxy and embedded copper wire. So far, so good.

(Idea from the FAQ, somewhere)

Cheers,

Ray

Stop reading this! Don't you have anything better to do?? :P
Two running things. Two broken things.

Well, if I get another set, I will do just that!

They should have aluminum J hooks at the lower corners with a plastic knurled nut, like the ones holding the tail lights on until 1973.

Very upsetting, but still...

Steve

Get all three and swap in the drive train from one of the others.
