Oops, Mike, I made a mistake. My '76 was manufactured April 23, 1976. My '73 was manufactured October 19, 1972. I conflated the '76's month and year with the '73's day. Sorry if I just crushed your hopes and dreams!

I need to replace the rear tires, and I prefer the original size tire.  So this morning I walked into the local tire store, Tire Barn in La Habra, CA.  He has been getting my plain-and-simple 165/13 tires for at least 25 years.  He makes a quick phone call, he will have them at the store later this afternoon.  Sometimes life is simple.
