some great lists of things to do so far and some nice clean ups.  the simple version is take everything out, clean everything up...

and only put back in what is absolutely needed..... :)

I like it:

Step one: Remove engine.

Step two: Replace engine clean.  :)

It looks like you relocated the washer fluid container.

Relocated the battery.

Is that an oil collector/breather on the far side?

Loose: Not tightly bound. Subject to motion.
Lose: What happens when you are spell check dependent.

1975 Malaga. It is rusty and  springs an occasional leak.  Just like me.

Some very pretty engine bays.   If I remove my engine I'll be standing in there doing the same job.

Note:  If you do remove (most) of the engine, as like LateApex, you can get inside the nose clip much easier via the radiator opening to paint it as well.    BMW did a half-ass job originally.    You'll notice only a light coat of paint on the inner surfaces as well as the underside of the top shelf of the clip.    Now's the time!    I did mine the hard way - upside down, twisted, double-jointed strokes, mostly through the front grill openings.

So Pete, I hope someday you make it into the hall.

Is that a new brake booster and cylinder? It looks pretty sharp.

Lose: What happens when you are spell check dependent.
