2002 tii parts in Germany

Recommended Posts

I am in Germany (Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich) for a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any good parts people/stores here that I could visit so that I could stock up on those hard to find parts. New and Used.

Right now I am looking for an engine mount for my 2002 tii specifically

If you're in Munich, there's (at at least there was when I was there a few years ago) a "factory store" right next door to the BMW museum.  While it was closed the day I was there (bummer!) I was given to understand they had all sorts of parts and accessories there, including BMW Classic stuff.  Worth a try...

PS--there are salvage yards in Germany just like in the States; you just need to find a local contact who can tell you about 'em.  And if you're military, at least the AF bases over there have their own junkyards!  I found a bunch of cool 2002 stuff there some years ago when I was TDY there.

Michael Cahsel's place - not sure where it is in Germany, google "Cahsel BMW" or something like that and it should come up.  What he sells isn't inexpensive, but he does seem to have a lot of inventory, including some rare race stuff, Alpina gear, ti, tii, NK etc.,

I agree.  Michael Cahsel is the place for hard to find parts.  I have purchased many parts from him.  Very honest and reliable guy.

Go to Veterama 9-11 OCT in Mannheim. Ten years ago, I scored a crack free Euro spec one piece 02 dash for 120 Euro's and mailed it back. I also scored Italian 02 and Euro turn signal lenses along with a red tip antenna.  When I was at Veterama, I felt like a kid in a candy store with all the cool parts for sale from dozens of vendors.  Basically Veterama is a giant flea market for vintage Euro car parts.  http://www.veterama.de/en/home

+1!  I brought back a suitcase full of parts, some great bargains! Oh, Mannheim has many nice restaurants and many, many, cute ladies, too! Damn, now I want to go...thanks G!
