tires and wheels Winter-ing in an '02

I drove my 02s year around in Kodiak, AK.  No engine fan installed, cardboard blocking 80% of the radiator.  155/80r13 Firestone Winterforce studded tires, LSD. (yes, 155s, they looked like bicycle tires)  If you get the heaterbox sorted out, there's no need to insulate the doors, a good "refreshened" 02 heater will keep you more than warm enough.  There's plenty of heaterbox how-to's on the FAQ here.

As long as you're not worried about salt, an 02 is a BLAST to drive in the winter!!
