OK, I am a closet Volvo admirer. Mom had a 242 when I was little. In harvest gold thank you very much! I still like the wagons, especially those DAF 1800s. Neighbor had one when I was growing up. Great lines. Like it better than the sedans. Wouldn't mind a V40 if it only had the Euro motor/turbo and AWD.

i was referring to the "great minds think alike" post by nevada below... i think its an early 80's 264? coupe...

of course the car is ugly and of course the 1800 is much prettier but come on! these cars have something!!!

Volvo's are my first love in the car world.

I started out with a 1956 444 upgraded to a 1966

122s then to a 1967 122s wagon then a 1989 volvo

245 DL then a 1974 2002 then a 1968 1600-2 with

a two liter in it.
