I see the color was Colorado before you added the flares. Did you repaint it Inka after installing? Or is it just the lighting?

First i do not plan the flares, but then i add and paint again inka. I have a 2000 from a e12.

That motor looks like the 1.8L with twin sidedraft SU carbs as used on the 518 in England. Is that the stock motor to your 1602 or is it from the 518 ?

I have 3 engines, the 2l m10b20 from an e12 a m10b18 from a e30 and a m10b16 from factory. I buy a old injection because of the inlet manifold, i want to convert my car to injection use the old manifold, look like the tii.

the engine shown in the last picture is most probably taken out of an early EURO E12. 520/4, 2 Liter M10, 115hp with two Stromberg 175 CDET carbs. Engine type only available in this model.

 

On cold winter mornings these carbs tended to drown the engine, carefully following BMW´s recommended cold start procedure was inevitable. Operating principle similar to the SUs you mentioned.

Nice work on the dash repair. Any details about how you did that? It looks like the cracks are filled but what have you over-coated it with?

The dash are filled with fiber glass and coated with bumper black primer for texture.

Hello, i need some advise, i put a 318i injection into the bimmer, what wires froom the original loom is need to the efi swap, in the research i made, need the coil + and the starter, but the 318i loom have the starter wire too, also i read the blue wire to the alternator.
