Recaros looking out of place?

Hey! I was wondering before buying, which Recaro seats are looking the best in a 02? I've sat in a Recaro Speed, and it's definitely awesome, but I am afraid it would look too much out of place for a 70s car. What do you think? Does somebody have pics with those seats in a 02? Are they heavier than 320i recaros? Because weight is an important factor too.

Thanks!

IMO, vintage Recaro Sport Sitze look the best in an 02. Those are hard to find and really pricy tho.

I've seen corbeaus similar to the speed model in an 02. Didn't look bad. I think because they're of a simpler design compared to other modern seats.

E21 Recaros upholstered in the same pattern as the OEM 2002 "sport" seats (as used in the Turbo but never available in the US) look very good and are equally comfortable.  Check McCartneys book for Turbo seat pictures.

Those seats from JMR are stunning!

Two of the most desirable vintage Recaros. The driver's seat is a '72-'73 Recaro Idealsitz-s. The passenger's seat is a '68-'73 Recaro Idealsitz, basically the same seat that was a factory option in the (European) '02 and the optional Sport Seat in early 911's. The particular example shown does not have a recliner on its inside (i.e., left) hinge, so I believe that means it's a 1971 or earlier example.
