I saw this ad and thought I would pass it along.  A 1969 BMW 2002 in Chamonix over Navy/Tan.  Door cards are Navy, seats are Tan, bumper and console delete, typical bumps, nicks and rusty spots.  Could be a good project for someone.

May be much more of a project than I really want. Carb cover gone, rusty underbody, I'm afraid of the hidden rust. Says the spare tire well has "enough metal to hold the tire". May just check it out.

It seems a bit pricey -- especially depending on rust -- but it's a sunroof '69 in a classic color, Chamonix.

Anyone here get it? I couldn't make it out till tomorrow (stupid job) and obviously someone beat me to it. 

Wonder if it was picked up for parts, a flipper or by someone who will keep it...

This is the car I had listed for $2995 with BBS wheels that had ZERO response from anyone on the forum. I was surprised as I specially priced so it would go to someone that wasn't going to flip it. This guy bought it and obviously removed the BBS wheels and still made a few thousand dollars. It was a really nice car with not much rust; I just had too much on my plate and needed the room.

I only started looking a few weeks back so don't recall this one. I would have been on it at $3k. He sold it for $4500. Wonder if it'll show up once again at like $6000?

 

I have a feeling a lot of the good priced examples are being bought by flippers who think every rust bucket is filled with gold
