I saw this ad and thought I would pass it along.  A 1969 BMW 2002 in Colorado/Black over Tan/tobacco interior.  Some racing tribute features, but still sporting the original 1 barrel Solex carb, interesting aftermarket AC.  May have a 1970 parts car as well.

VIN 1664695 is a 1969 model, certainly built within the 1969 calendar year and probably within the first quarter of 1969. Equipped from the factory with side markers and headrests, required from January 1, 1969 onward (side markers probably lost at the time of the orange-and-black racing livery; original seats are no longer present). The car's original color is unclear to me, although it appears to survive within the engine compartment and on the door jambs. Blue possibly? Riviera? Current interior is a mish-mash, with '75-'76 front seats, tobacco front door cards, but a black or dark blue right rear door card.

And that's the Mark IV Custom A/C unit by John E. Mitchell Co.! Fairly rare, and one of the earliest custom-fitted A/C units for '02s. Maybe available as early as 1969. Here's a thread showing a couple other examples:

I have that AC system in my garage attic, if anyone is interested..  pulled it from a 1969 1602  He is missing the blower, which replaces the glove box.
