body and interior Windshield installer in MD?

Looking for someone to install new windshield in my 2002 in Mont. County, MD or DC metro area. Newbie question: must be done in their shop, is my unheated garage a no-no?

They can install a windshield in the parking lot of your job if you want. Any windshield company should be able to get the glass new.

You can do it yourself.  I just recently installed my own for the first time.  Memorize the V at the V 2008 videos (3 parts).  Couple of notes:

 

1)  you will need 4 hands (at least I did)

2)  use the BMW gasket part (has 4 corners).  There is some debate as to whether the after market gasket (with 2 corners) is just as good.  But I tried the after market gasket first and failed

3)  you will need that gasket tool

4)  don't be discouraged if you fail the first time
