Schnitzer Twin Cam .... todays update

No, No, had to have this made ' just ' for the dyno.  Unfortunately, its a throw away.  The header that came off was pretty tatty, he didn't think it would make it through all the run in, power runs etc., He tried to replicate the amount of pipe etc. following the header that would replicate what is happening with the car.  He has a magnaflow muffler hooked up to the exhaust, which my car does not (will not) have.  Still, its all important in trying to achieve accurate results.   It is really expensive to put a  motor on one of these (like this one) and you can't afford to have the header turn to sh&t while breaking in and testing the motor.  Part of the build cost for me is a nominal fee to run the motor in - and really its peanuts in the big picture.  The motor is completely broken in now, while doing so another injection line had an 'issue' - new one made round 3 ....and a couple of teeny tiny oil leaks showed themselves.  I can't imaging building a motor like this and not running it in like this.  So much data for him to analyze, I need to write a mini article on it.  Really impressive.  By the way, I asked him about break in and building oil pressure before starting - simple, plugs come out and then crank the engine.  His dyno has an "air" starter that spins the motor up to 3,000 rpm so oil pressure is gained pretty quickly.

Aren't there rules against posting pornography here? That's gorgeous. Wish I could hear it run in person.

Edit: just saw a video on Facebook. Even idling it sounds like it wants to do bad things.

wait what? I want to see it!!! Where's the video link?

Thank you, I am really pleased.  I had to edit a bit out of this, but pretty cool.  Engine idle at about 3000 rpm and a look down the business side of things - injectors spraying into combustion chamber.  Pretty Cool.
