1974 2002 (Amherst MA)

I am looking to sell my 2002. It is currently being stored in a garage, but I will soon need that space for other projects so it seems it's time to find another owner.

 

Pros 

runs well, shifts very smooth, brakes function properly. Last year I drove it considerably more including driving here and back from Ohio with out any problems. The 2002 is still currently registered in Ohio where I purchased it. 

 

new parts 

-cap 

-rotor

-points

-ignition wires 

-belts

-battery

 

-recent valve adjustment 

-recent carburetor tune up 

-brakes adjusted 

-gauge cluster recently gone through 

- rubber fuel lines replaced 

-oil just changed with mobil filter and rotella 

-trans and diff oil changed with redline

 

Cons 

e brake does not function currently 

fuel gauge does not work (most likely wire to sender, gauge was tested to be good)

needs tires 

has cracked exhaust pipe

driver brake light cracked 

 

 

Rust:

shock towers are not rotted 

some rust in trunk and under rear windows 

previos owner had one of the rockers and front valance repaired

small rust spots at bottom of front fenders

 

Exterior 

The exterior paint has  chips and small dents, the most noticeable defects are that of the broken rear light and badly keyed driver side panels and trunk. 

 

Interior: 

The Interior is tired and needs new seat covers and cushions. The carpet is also pretty old looking with a tear near the pedals. The dash is in good shape. 

 

Overall the car is very original aside from the carburetor which was replaced with a weber, and the rear spoiler.
