Rocker trim rubber seal

I have bought the rubber seals for the rocker trim, and I am wondering which way it is supposed to be attached. The big one in the middle section is more or less given, but the other two on each end is a bit more tricky I think. Here is the middle section:

Here is one of the ends in different positions

Two next pictures comes with the rubber in  this orientation:

or with the rubber oriented like this:

In my opinion, b is the most correct way, but not sure. Maybe someone have some pictures, before I glue it on.

I looked at the one I took off my car -- no telling if it is original or not.   The rear seal is oriented like your picture A - just like that, with the fine ribs on the outside.  The front portion of the seal was almost the same, just slightly rotated more toward your picture B.

Thank you for answering. when I last drove this car, in 1991, the rocker trim wasnt installed. The rocker trim I have was without the rubber seals. I even parted out another car, and this also missed the the rubber seals.

I'll go for picture a then.

Here are some pix with the rocker trim strip in situ.  Sorry about the poor lighting.
