Everybody wants the best price. Not me. I want a fair price and good service. I generally get both from Blunttech. I got a bad rebuilt E21 Bosch alternator from them. One detailed email and Steve sent me a replacement alternator and a label for return of the first one.

No hassle. No paperwork. No questions. Anyone can occasionally get a bad part. How much is good service worth?

I am of the same mindset as gastephens.

so much so, that I stopped checking around for competitive price comparisons.

there is an 'ad' in the for sale section, which I believe claims BT will match other prices,

so you can take the results of your homework to them and it may pay off.

one way to save money is to order as much as you can at one time.

It may not all come from one source, in spite of ordering from one vendor, but the savings in shipping can still help.

that is where I wasted some money.

I placed lots of 'oh, and one more thing' orders.

I also wanted them quickly!  yet some of them have still not been installed.

Here are some tools for price checking.  With Furious Method just put the part # into the box and check/uncheck the vendors of choice.  The Parts Number Comparison requires a download.

If anyone else has been watching or cares, W&N prices have gone up drastically in the last week. At least 10% and maybe as much as 15%. I assumed it was a result of Brexit, and the Euro devaluing, but the Euro is actually up from last week.
